We strategically structure productions to maximize Abu Dhabi production rebates from 35% up to 50% through local integration, Emirati talent participation, and incentive optimization.

Ali F. Mostafa is an award-winning Emirati filmmaker and one of the pioneers of modern UAE cinema. Internationally recognized for directing City of Life, the UAE’s first globally acclaimed feature film, he has played a key role in elevating Emirati storytelling on the world stage. As founder of AFM Films and director of acclaimed productions including From A to B and The Worthy, Ali brings deep expertise in filmmaking, creative strategy, and media innovation to the MFM Media advisory board.

Houssami is a senior investment and capital management professional with over 20 years of experience at the helm of managing wealth and deploying capital across global markets. Having held senior roles at Merrill Lynch, Barclays, and Credit Suisse — where he managed one of the largest Middle East books with over $2 billion in assets under management — he has spent the last decade running capital and investment mandates for family offices and ultra-high-net-worth principals across the Gulf, Monaco, and beyond. Grounded in a foundation from Glion Hotel School in Switzerland and sharpened through decades of cross-border deal structuring, Karim brings to MFM Media a rare combination of institutional financial rigour, private capital networks across the MENA region, and a strategic eye for high-value creative investment.
